40 cases in the Rs6 billion TDAP corruption scam have a court-reserved ruling.

40 cases pertaining to the corruption scandal involving the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) have had verdicts reserved by the Federal Anti-Corruption Court in Karachi.

The verdict in three of these instances has been reserved after the completion of the hearings. It is anticipated that the decision will be made public by the end of this month.

There are currently 93 TDAP corruption cases pending trial.

It is stated that the accused’s false claims of goods subsidies cost the national exchequer more than Rs6 billion.

Among the accused are prominent figures such as former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and a number of others. These instances demonstrate the scope of purported financial malfeasance and how it affects public monies.
