Mr. Sharif emphasised development endeavours in the federal capital, commending current infrastructure projects such as road expansions and beautification efforts, asserting that Islamabad is progressing towards being “a cradle of progress, beauty, and amenities.”

He commended Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for the rapidity of progress, stating, “This is not Shahbaz speed or Mohsin Naqvi speed—it is Pakistan speed.”

He additionally observed that the enhancement in traffic flow and the city’s aesthetic attractiveness was apparent, especially in the “spring of flowers” flourishing around the capital.

Upgrade of Fitch Ratings

Mr. Sharif referenced a recent economic advancement as a testament to the government’s efficacy, noting Fitch’s elevation of Pakistan’s outlook from ‘CCC’ to ‘B−’, accompanied by a stable forecast.

The prime minister stated, “This is the outcome of collaborative efforts and teamwork.” “Allah has granted us a degree of economic stability.” With the same strength, confidence, and determination that Team Pakistan has demonstrated in overcoming adversities, we shall advance on the trajectory of growth and prosperity.
