In the DI Khan operation, a soldier was martyred and four terrorists were killed.

According to ISPR, one Pakistan Army man accepted martyrdom in the gunfight, while security personnel in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killed four militants during an intelligence-based operation.
Based on verified intelligence regarding the presence of militants, security forces carried out an operation in the Madi neighborhood of Dera Ismail Khan, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Four militants were killed as a result of the security forces’ successful targeting of the insurgent stronghold, according to the statement.
According to ISPR, Sepoy Basit Siddique, a courageous son of the soil, fought bravely and accepted martyrdom during the fierce firefight.
The killed extremists, who were involved in several terrorist attacks in the region, also had weapons and ammo found on them. The potential presence of other militants has prompted a clearance operation.
ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces are still committed to eradicating the terrorist threat from the nation, and that this commitment is strengthened by the valiant troops’ sacrifices.
