Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will make his first journey to Kabul since taking office this week when he travels to Afghanistan for a one-day official visit.

The foreign office reports that Dar will meet with his Afghan counterpart in Kabul when he arrives on April 19.

The return of Afghan refugees, border management, cross-border terrorism, and the status of regional projects like the TAPI gas pipeline are among the main topics on the agenda.

In addition to addressing urgent environmental and economic issues, the visit seeks to deepen bilateral ties.
