In 2025, just 23,600 Pakistanis would be permitted to perform the Hajj: Ministry

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has released critical directives for pilgrims participating in the private Hajj scheme for 2025, underscoring the necessity of complying with Saudi Arabia’s deadlines and utilising approved platforms for information and assistance.
The government has announced that just 23,620 Pakistani pilgrims will be permitted to undertake Hajj this year under the private Hajj scheme. To promote openness and convenience, the roster of sanctioned service providers and their allocations has been published on the ministry’s official website and the Pak Hajj 2025 mobile application.
A representative from the ministry encouraged all pilgrims and service providers to remain updated via the Pak Hajj app, which provides real-time updates, critical announcements, and contact details.
The spokesperson emphasised that all organisations participating in the private Hajj scheme are required to provide updated service contracts to pilgrims in accordance with their designated quota.
The ministry reiterated that private Hajj operators and pilgrims must finalise the Hajj visa issue procedure by April 18, in accordance with directives from the Saudi authorities.
Pilgrims seeking assistance or wishing to file complaints may call the ministry at 051-9218571 or 051-9207519, or may email their concerns to somonitoring@mora.gov.pk.
