SCO Showcases Regional Technology Developments for Delegation
The Software Technology Park in Muzaffarabad was visited by a high-level delegation of senior government officials from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Members of the planning and development department, the directorate general of monitoring and evaluation, and the prime minister’s SDG Unit were among the delegation.
The group was led by Dr. Asma Andrabi, the head of the SDG Unit and special coordinator for donors to the prime minister.
The Special Communications Organisation informed the delegation on the creation of Freelancing Hubs and Software Technology Parks in the area.
The accomplishments of the SCO were also discussed in the session.
The group had meetings with freelancers, startups, and businesses that operate in the park.
The park’s amenities, operational structure, and youth-led services were all well-received by the visitors.
Additionally acknowledged were the SCO’s initiatives to empower young people and advance a digital business environment.
