Every child under five years old needs to receive the polio vaccine: PM

A crucial review meeting on the nation’s polio eradication efforts was convened by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who praised the work of both domestic institutions and foreign allies in the pursuit of a polio-free Pakistan.
He underlined that during the current campaigns, the polio vaccine must be given to all children under five.
The premier gave officials instructions to guarantee that all youngsters receive routine vaccinations in order to strengthen their immunity.
In order to support the fight against polio, the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of effective community engagement and called for awareness at the grassroots level.
He commended polio campaign workers for being on the front lines of protecting children’s health in spite of difficult circumstances.
