SP Aisha Butt, a Punjab Police officer, received a global excellence award.

The International Association of Women Police’s (IAWP) “Excellence in Performance Award 2025” was given to Punjab Police Superintendent of Police Aisha Butt.
The award was given to her during the 62nd IAWP Annual Training Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, in recognition of her “distinguished service and commitment to policing,” according to a Punjab Police spokeswoman.
More than 300 female law enforcement personnel from over 40 countries** attended the event.
IAWP President Julia Jäger gave SP Aisha Butt the medal and commended her for her exceptional policing efforts.
Only one female police officer worldwide receives this honour each year in honour of her outstanding community contribution.
At the moment, SP Butt is Gujranwala’s City Traffic Officer (CTO). She received recognition for her outstanding contributions to traffic safety policing, building public confidence and interaction with law enforcement, and her general excellence in her line of work.
The Punjab Police personnel and leadership congratulated SP Aisha Butt on this international distinction, describing it as a proud occasion for the force as a whole.
