A court in Islamabad reverses the YouTube channel prohibition.

The judgement to restrict a number of YouTube channels has been overturned by the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad.

11 YouTubers appealed the closure of 27 YouTube channels, and the court delivered its reserved verdict. In accepting the appeals, the court ruled that the judicial magistrate’s previous order was invalid.

Extra Sessions and Districts Prominent petitioners Matiullah Jan, Asad Toor, and Abdul Qadir were granted relief by Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka’s reserved ruling.

Eleven YouTubers in all appealed the judicial magistrate’s ruling, and the court expressly made a decision on these eleven appeals.
