Qatar and Pakistan decide to strengthen their bilateral relations.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for unity in the Muslim world and pledged Pakistan’s full sympathy with the Gulf state, denouncing an Israeli strike on Doha as a “blatant violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty and international law.
PM Shehbaz met with Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar during an official visit to show support following Tuesday’s attack. He delivered “Pakistan’s strongest condemnation” of what he described as Israel’s “brazen aggression” in the Middle East.
He hoped for the injured’s recovery and expressed his sympathies for the death.
According to the PM, Pakistan requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the incident at Qatar’s request.
He affirmed Pakistan’s readiness to co-sponsor and co-convene the conference through the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and praised Qatar’s intention to host an Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit on Monday.
The prime minister cautioned that Israeli activities were meant to destabilise the area and impede diplomatic and humanitarian operations while applauding Qatar’s “responsible, constructive, and mediatory” stance in attempts to ensure peace in Gaza.
Sharif reaffirmed that Pakistan and Qatar had “stood with each other through thick and thin,” referring to the two countries’ “historic, fraternal bonds.”
He assured Qatar of Islamabad’s continuous support “shoulder to shoulder” with its leadership and people, and thanked the Amir for Doha’s assistance during Pakistan’s last confrontation with India.
Amir Tamim expressed gratitude to PM Shehbaz for his visit and show of support.
In order to protect Palestinian rights, preserve international law, and advance regional peace, both presidents committed to continuing to work closely together.
