Vessel Capsizes at Jalalpur Khakhi

A vessel transporting approximately 40 individuals overturned in the Jalalpur Khakhi region of Shujabad. Officials from Rescue 1122 reported that all persons had been rescued.

CONDITION IN MULTAN

Multan is experiencing a flood problem caused by the Chenab River, with numerous communities in Head Muhammad Wala and Sher Shah remaining submerged.

MASS DISPLACEMENT IN RAJANPUR

The local authority reports that 110,000 individuals and more than 100,000 cattle have been relocated from the impacted regions. Drones are utilized for the rescue of trapped folks.

In Vehari, more than 100 communities are inundated, with crops flooded across over 76,000 acres of land.

The Indus River in Rahim Yar Khan is currently at critically elevated flood levels, inundating several settlements.

In Alipur, the inflow of floodwater at Panjnad has diminished to 422,522 cusecs; however, experts caution that this reduction may be transient.

In Setpur, adjacent to Alipur, roadways are obstructed due to inundation. The regions of Kachi Lal, Kundrala, Mari, Mariyan, Leti Mari Checkpoint Gabol, Baz Wala, and Ghulwan Dom are significantly impacted.

UPDATE ON FLOOD CONDITIONS IN BAHAWALNAGAR

A minor flood is currently occurring in the Sutlej River near Head Sulemanki, Bahawalnagar, with an inflow of 78,575 cusecs and an outflow of 69,019 cusecs.

Floodwaters have obstructed roadways in Togeera, Jhandika, and Momeka Road, impeding travel.

PAKISTAN NAVY ENGAGED

Pakistan Navy soldiers are now conducting rescue operations at Pano Aqil, Guddu Barrage, and Sukkur Barrage due to rising water levels.

Numerous communities in the riverine (Katcha) regions of Sindh are inundated. Notwithstanding the danger, several residents are declining to vacate their residences.

DISASTER WARNING IN SINDH

The Sindh Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has proclaimed a high flood alert for Guddu Barrage on September 14 and 15.

In Naudero, inundation has breached residential properties. Inhabitants are experiencing profound discomfort, and numerous animals remain marooned due to their inability to be relocated promptly.

Flood destruction is intensifying in Punjab and Sindh, as significant rivers overflow their banks, displacing millions.
