Uzbek FM Dar Talk about regional ties and the railway project.

Islamabad, Pakistan: Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, spoke over the phone with Saidov Bakhtiyor Odilovich, the foreign minister of Uzbekistan, about bilateral ties and important regional connectivity initiatives.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar discussed the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway Line project, which he had just discussed in Kabul. He hoped that the framework agreement will soon be signed by the three nations, which would be a major step forward for this important regional connectivity project.
Discussions to improve Pakistan-Uzbekistan bilateral ties were also held between the two leaders. They discussed current regional and global issues of mutual interest, looked into ways to improve economic and trade connectedness, and fostered interpersonal relationships.
