More than 250 ‘Fitna-al-Khawarij’ terrorists were reportedly present in Bajaur.

There have been reports of over 250 ‘Fitna-al-Khawarij’ terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province’s Mamund tehsil of District Bajaur.

While security personnel have successfully cleared many portions of Mamund, about 22,500 families have been temporarily relocated from other parts of the city due to security concerns. A focused operation against these militants in the region has been given a three-week deadline.

Security officials claim that despite efforts to prevent significant civilian casualties, the operation has been difficult. Four thousand five hundred families have returned to the cleared regions thus far.

Authorities also disclosed that certain locals are serving as Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists’ facilitators.
