Pahalgam attack: Foreign Secretary briefs diplomats on the results of the NSC meeting
A group of diplomats and heads of missions in Islamabad were informed by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch on the developments in the wake of the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The results of the meeting of the National Security Committee were presented by the Foreign Secretary. She denounced the Indian disinformation effort against Pakistan, claiming that it will impede the region’s progress towards peace and security.
Pakistan has consistently opposed terrorism in all of its forms and manifestations, the foreign secretary emphasised. She also reiterated Pakistan’s willingness to thwart any mishap and warned against Indian attempts to inflame tensions.
