To shield pilgrims against fraud, a verified list of Umrah companies was released.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has published a confirmed list of 113 approved Umrah organizations for the Islamic year 1447 AH, marking a significant step in protecting Umrah travelers from fraud.

The list is available on the Ministry’s official website, a spokesperson said. Before making any reservations, pilgrims are urged to always verify the firm name on the website.

The spokesman further emphasized that all payments must be made directly to the company’s account through banks. After paying, pilgrims are also required to pick up a copy of the agreement and a receipt.

He went on to say that only these authorized businesses should be used to book Umrah packages, which cover lodging, transportation, airfare, and visas.
