Floods are caused by heavy rainfall, and the Garam Chashma–Chitral road is closed at various places.

Many parts of the Garam Chashma–Chitral route, especially those between Bhalpuk and Shali, have been closed to all forms of traffic due to flood torrents caused by last night’s rains.

The impacted routes are being restored, and Rescue 1122 and the relevant departments are keeping a careful eye on the situation. Rescue crews are always on the lookout and ready to handle any emergency.

The public is urged to take alternate routes and refrain from needless travel. In the event of an emergency, they should call Rescue 1122 or hotline 1122 right away.
