Major Adnan and Captain Taimur’s families are met by the governor of Punjab.

On Thursday, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan paid a visit to the homes of Captain Taimur Hassan and Shaheed Major Adnan Aslam. While there, he offered Fatiha for the deceased and extended his condolences to their families.

On September 8, while receiving treatment at Combined Military Hospital following injuries he sustained during a counterterrorism operation in Bannu on September 2, Major Adnan Aslam accepted martyrdom. The governor remarked that Major Adnan’s brave gesture of giving his life to save a fellow officer was worthy of the highest honor.

In the final week of August, Captain Taimur Hassan lost his life while doing his duties in South Waziristan.

The governor praised the martyrs’ tremendous sacrifices for the nation’s security and sovereignty and prayed for their promotion during the visits.

He claimed that Captain Taimur’s final sacrifice and Major Adnan’s valor in combating terrorists demonstrated the Pakistan Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment.

According to Sardar Saleem Haider, the nation should be proud of the bravery displayed by the martyrs’ families.

He added that those who sacrificed their lives to defend the country should be honored and remembered, and that the entire country was proud of such courageous sons of the soil.

“The nation is able to breathe in an atmosphere of freedom because of the martyrs’ ultimate sacrifices,” the governor continued.
