The temporary bails for Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, and Azam Swati in the May 9 charges were renewed by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday.

Judge Arshad Javed extended the defendants Azam Khan Swati, Aleema Khan, and Uzma Khan’s temporary bails till October 31 at the hearing in the ATC Lahore on interim bail requests in six May 9 arson cases.

Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan submitted applications for exemptions from personal appearance, and Azam Khan Swati showed up in court to sign his attendance.

Hafiz Farhat Abbas, the leader of the PTI, was also in court.
