Pakistan now has $19.74 billion in foreign exchange reserves.

As of September 12, 2025, Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves had risen to $19,735.7 million, while the State Bank of Pakistan’s reserves had also marginally climbed to $14,357.2 million.

In its weekly report on the position of foreign exchange reserves, the central bank stated that SBP’s foreign exchange reserves had grown by US$ 21 million to US$ 14,357.2 million during the week ending September 12, 2025.

According to the reserves breakdown for the reviewed period, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks also increased by $34 million to $5,378.5 million during the week.

During the week ending September 5, 2025, the nation’s foreign reserves were valued at $19,680.9 million. The commercial banks retained the remaining $5,344.6 million in reserves, while the central bank held $14,336.3 million.
