Khawaja Asif attributes Pakistan’s victory over India to the recent Saudi deal.

The recently concluded defense deal between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan was hailed as a historic milestone by Pakistan’s defense minister, Khawaja Asif, who said it was the outcome of Marka-e-Haq, or “the battle of truth.”
He told reporters in the nation’s capital that the deal would boost Pakistan’s military presence in Saudi Arabia and provide the country with substantial economic advantages.
Asif emphasized the significance of the deal, pointing out that although Pakistan had previously signed defense pacts, such alliances had not provided assistance during emergencies. He said that this specific agreement ushers in a new age of mutual trust and collaboration between the two countries.

Additionally, he disclosed that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia had reminded him of the kingdom’s prior assistance, citing the two gunboats that were sent to Karachi in 1971.
“Those who do not like Pakistan are unhappy with this agreement, but Pakistan is open to forming similar defense partnerships with other countries,” Khawaja Asif continued.
