The Pakistan Cricket Board has unanimously chosen Mohsin Naqvi as its chairman.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Following the decision of his challenger Mustafa Ramday to withdraw from the campaign, Mohsin Naqvi, the caretaker chief minister of Punjab, was chosen without opposition on Tuesday to serve as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for a three-year term.
In this regard, the PCB Board of Governors met at the National Cricket Academy, which is close to Qaddafi Stadium, under the direction of Shah Khawar, the board’s acting chairman.
After being selected for the Board of Governors by interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Naqvi will take over as the 37th head of the PCB. He will take over the role following his resignation as interim chief minister of Punjab.
