The Jaffar Express terrorist assault mastermind was assassinated in Afghanistan.

Under strange circumstances, the mastermind of the Jaffar Express terrorist attack was assassinated in the Helmand area of Afghanistan.

The incident happened on September 17, 2025, according to accounts from Indian media and social media.

According to sources, Gul Rehman, also known as Ustad Mureed, was a prominent member of the outlawed terrorist group and was the operational commander and trainer of the infamous Majeed Brigade. He was charged with planning several high-profile terrorist strikes in Pakistan that targeted civilians, Chinese nationals, security personnel, and other key initiatives.

“Fitna al Hindustan” has been implicated in a number of fatal events, including as the suicide bombing at the Confucius Institute in Karachi, the Pearl Continental Hotel in Gwadar, the Chinese consulate in Karachi, and the Jaffer Express. The bombing at Quetta railway station, the attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, and the Khuzdar school bus explosion are additional incidents connected to the group.

According to security officials, Gul Rehman’s alleged murder is a major development since it highlights the ongoing use of Afghan territory for terrorist activities against Pakistan, including their preparation and execution.

The Majeed Brigade of “Fitna al Hindustan” has been formally classified as a worldwide terrorist group by the United States.

In addition, China and Pakistan have urged the group to be added to the UN’s list of recognized terrorist organizations.

JAFFAR EXPRESSES DEATH

More than 440 passengers were detained on March 11 after the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) detonated train tracks close to a secluded mountain route in the Bolan area.

Security personnel killed 33 assailants and freed the remaining passengers following a day-long standoff. Before the operation began, 26 individuals had been martyred by terrorists. During the operation, four security men accepted martyrdom.

Lt Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the director general of Inter-Services Public Relations, referred to India as the primary sponsor of terrorism in Balochistan during a news conference on March 14. He went on to say that the Jaffar Express attack was a result of the same policy.

He further revealed that during the attack, the terrorists continued to communicate with handlers in Afghanistan and worked in groups.
