The prime minister says he wants to strengthen Pakistan-Kuwait relations.

Pakistan is eager to deepen its bilateral connections with Kuwait, especially in the areas of trade, business, agriculture, livestock, manpower export, and health, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Tuesday.

The prime minister and Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, met bilaterally while the prime minister is in New York for the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The prime minister noted the long-standing, historic fraternal connections between Pakistan and Kuwait during their friendly and courteous encounter.

He expressed his admiration and best wishes for Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait. The prime minister praised the crown prince for Kuwait’s sympathy during the recent floods in Pakistan, recollecting that the two nations had always supported one another through thick and thin.

The dates of the Kuwaiti Crown Prince’s formal visit to Pakistan later this year are being arranged through diplomatic channels, he said, and Pakistan is eager to receive him.

Additionally, the two presidents discussed regional and global challenges, such as the Middle East situation.
