Following the Pahalgam assault, Saudi Arabia has voiced its concerns over the continuing tensions between India and Pakistan.
The Saudi foreign ministry had responded to the ongoing disagreements between the two South Asian nations, according to the details that emerged on Wednesday. “It is a matter of concern due to continuous incidents of firing in the border areas,” said the statement.
Both India and Pakistan were asked by the Saudi foreign ministry to ease the current tensions and resolve the conflict diplomatically. In line with the ideals of good neighbourliness, the statement emphasised the necessity for India and Pakistan to cooperate in order to maintain regional peace and stability.
Moreover, the Saudi foreign ministry emphasised the need to take steps that are in the interests of both India and Pakistan and the people of the region.
