In a contentious tweet case, the court revokes the arrest orders for Imaan Mazari and Hadi Chatha.

The arrest warrants for Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chattha in the contentious tweet case were revoked by the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Hadi Ali Chattha and Imaan Mazari both appeared in court as the case was handled by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.

Their arrest warrants were revoked by the court, and additional procedures were postponed until September 29.

Notably, the District and Sessions Court issued arrest warrants for Advocates Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha on September 22. The warrants required their arrest and court appearance on September 24.

Both accused had previously received summons papers from the court.

Advocates Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha were just granted transit bail by the Peshawar High Court until October 9th.
