A 5.5-magnitude earthquake strikes parts of KP and Islamabad.

Several parts of Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced earthquake-like tremors on Friday.

The Seismological Center reports that a strong 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, Lower Dir, and Chitral. The measured depth of the earthquake was 195 kilometers.

According to the Seismological Center, the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan was the earthquake’s epicenter.

The public became terrified after the tremors, and they hurriedly left their homes while reciting the Kalimah Tayyibah. But there have been no reports of fatalities or property damage.
