Prior to their visit at the Oval Office, Trump gives PM and Field Marshal Asim Munir accolades.

Prior to his meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the White House on Thursday, US President Donald Trump lauded both leaders.

At an executive order signing ceremony, President Trump told reporters he was looking forward to meeting Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at the Oval Office.

“A fantastic leader is actually on the way. The Field Marshal and the Prime Minister of Pakistan are coming. Both the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal are excellent people,” he said.

He said Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was a remarkable personality and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was a terrific leader.
