Senator Mushtaq seeks an electoral inquiry and the resignation of the CEC.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmed of Jamaat Islami has requested that the chief election commissioner be charged with treason and violating the constitution, along with his resignation.

“Those involved in election rigging are culprits of the nation,” stated Senator JI during remarks on the Senate floor.

According to Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, the ballot was taken by the bullet.

“The CEC must submit his resignation, and the election commission should beg for pardon from the country,” he declared.

Senator Mushtaq requested that the CEC be subject to legal action under Article 6 of the constitution.

He insisted on the creation of an independent judicial panel to look into the election. He proposed that the judicial panel launch a nationwide investigation based on Form 45.

The senator from Jamaica urged that the monies intended for general election expenditures be removed, stating that individuals engaged in election tampering were endangering national security and unity.

According to him, the Internet outage revealed that the elections were not held in a fair manner. The shutdown of Twitter (X) suggested that “there is something in the bottom.”
