Several Sindh ministers’ portfolios were altered.

The cabinet was reorganized by the Sindh government on Friday, with Ali Rashid appointed as the new provincial IT minister and numerous ministers’ portfolios changed.

The provincial government’s official announcement states that Saeed Ghani has been appointed Minister for Labor, Human Resources, and Social Protection Department, while Nasir Hussain Shah has been appointed Sindh Minister for Local Government.

Giyan Chand Essrani has been named the Chief Minister’s Advisor on Rehabilitation, and Muhammad Ismail Rahu has been nominated as a minister in the Sindh Cabinet.

In a same vein, Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman was named the Provincial Minister for the Food Department, while Jam Khan Shoro was given the additional responsibilities of the Planning and Development (P&D) Department in addition to irrigation. Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman no longer has the minister of rehabilitation portfolio.

The letter further states that the Chief Minister has selected four special assistants. Muhammad Tariq Hasan, Atta Muhammad Panhwar, Faraz Abid Lakhani, and Dr. Sham Sundar K. Advani are among them.

In contrast, Abdul Jabbar Khan was moved from the Food Department to Rehabilitation, Jain Khan Sarfraz was named Special Assistant for Archives, taking the place of Social Protection, and Muhammad Ali Rashid was named Special Assistant for Science and IT.

Notably, Saeed Ghani was previously Sindh’s Local Government Minister, and Nasir Hussain Shah previously served as the portfolio holders for Planning and Development and Energy.
