A Punjab minister says a state-of-the-art air quality forecasting system has been developed.

Punjab has developed a state-of-the-art air quality forecasting system, according to provincial minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday.
By forecasting weather and air pollution, the technology will assist reduce pollution in the province’s major cities.
According to a senior provincial minister, a report on air pollution would be published each week.
According to Aurangzeb, the air forecasting system combines real-time monitoring with contemporary scientific modules and operates in accordance with local requirements and the current air index.
According to the Punjab minister, the data from the new, contemporary monitoring stations that were put in this year will also be included in the air quality forecasting system.
According to the minister, Punjab currently has 41 air quality monitoring stations, and in the days ahead, that number will rise to 100.
According to the minister, the system would also provide information on health precautions and public hygiene.
According to Marriyum Aurangzeb, the system has been a component of the government’s strategy to reduce smog, and it also includes a crackdown on the practice of burning leftover crops.
She stated that state-of-the-art equipment will be utilized to monitor the weather, air pollution, and air quality.
