Concerning the ‘failure’ of the KP government to modernize CTD, the minister

The KP administration is demanding talks with Afghanistan, according to State Minister Talal Chaudhary, who also questioned the outcome of earlier discussions and added that those who understand the language of bullets should be forced to comprehend it in the same language.
On Saturday, the minister was addressing a press conference held here. He stated that by making it seem as though it is negotiating with Afghanistan, the PTI administration in KP should not avoid its obligations.
Despite receiving Rs600 billion for counterterrorism measures, he criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration, claiming that the province had not finished the Safe City project, modernized the Counter Terrorism Department, or properly equipped security forces.
According to him, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir’s combined vision and tireless work have allowed Pakistan’s diplomacy to reach its historic high for the first time.
Global powers like the United States, the Gulf States, and the Arab world are now acknowledging Pakistan’s position, he continued, and the recent defense deal with Saudi Arabia will soon help the people of Pakistan in real ways.
“Pakistan’s voice is being heard and respected on the international stage, making this a pivotal moment in history,” he continued.
While highlighting diplomatic achievements, he issued a warning that the fight against terrorism remained dominated the internal front and that this fight was prolonged because the National Action Plan was not fully implemented.
The insurgents are attacking Pakistani forces in the Tirah Valley by using women and children as human shields and cutting-edge drones. Since the state’s writ cannot be violated in any way, such elements may only be dealt with by force,” he continued.
Speaking of recent operations, he said that combined efforts by federal and provincial authorities resulted in the deaths of 17 militants in Karak.
He emphasized, however, that provincial administrations must also fulfill their duties and that this is not just the duty of the federal government. He stated that anyone assisting the terrorists will be considered an accomplice and that political speeches and rallies cannot replace action.
The state minister praised the sacrifices made by officers such as Major Adnan Shaheed, who gave their life to protect their fellow officers, and asserted that the primary responsibility of leaders is to take a strong stance against terrorism.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to offering the general population access to healthcare, education, and transportation. He stated that economic stability and real assistance for the general public would soon be evident.
Pakistan’s international stature will be further strengthened, he claimed, if national development and defense capabilities are aligned.
