The Punjab government is criticized by the PPP for not using BISP data to assist farmers affected by flooding.

PPP politician Nadeem Afzal Chan has said that because of the image of Benazir Bhutto on the program card, the Punjab government is not using the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) data to assist farmers affected by the flood.

“It is our duty to be the voice of the people, and media persons are playing an important role in this regard,” the PPP leader told reporters during a Saturday interview at the PPP secretariat here.

Nadeem Afzal stated, “The PML-N may talk about breaking fingers, but think about the farmers.” The PML-N spokesperson also tweeted that he would face consequences under the PECA Act.

I am unable to discuss the battle against bureaucracy and the transfer and posting issues because of this. Additionally, consider the PECA Act’s sugar dilemma. He claimed, “I am a weak man and do not speak out because I am afraid of the PECA Act.”

We support the government. We are frequently criticized for supporting the government. We agreed on fourteen points at the time of the government partnership. “The PPP’s manifesto is to be the voice of the suffering people,” he continued.

According to the PPP Information Secretary, the PTI administration offered 1200 billion rupees when Corona arrived, but the farmers did not receive a single rupee.

The farmers received nothing the last time the flood struck. According to the PPP leader, they will speak up for the rights of those who deserve it.

The premise of our coalition was that within a year there would be local elections. The water would not have caused this predicament if there had been local representatives. “If the IMF stops the government from holding elections for local government,” he warned.

Wheat is the foundation of farmers, as we have stated time and time again, yet the government is currently importing wheat without compensating the farmers. He claimed that India has been providing farmers with 20,000 acres, inexpensive fertilizer, and free energy.
