Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister nominee Ali Amin Gandapur has chosen to run as an independent for the KP Assembly.

Without regard to political affiliation, the top leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would run for chief minister.

Despite the PTI’s proposal, sources claim that Gandapur has not joined the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
