Three accused RAW agents in a target killing case are granted bail by the SHC.

Three accused members of the Indian spy agency RAW in a target killing case were granted bail by the Sindh High Court on Tuesday.

Following hearings from both sides, the court granted bail to the suspects, Talat Iqbal, Shiraz, and Sibghatullah.

The accused were ordered by the court to provide surety bonds totaling Rs. 300,000.

Imran Mayo, the defense attorney, contended that the accused had been detained since 2022 despite the police having previously categorized the case as “A-class,” which indicates that there was no reliable evidence.

He informed the court that “there is no concrete proof against them.”

However, the prosecution remained steadfast in its assertion that the accused’s supervisors outside had given them the mission to kill citizen Shahid Ghani. They further claimed that the same handlers provided the suspects with funding for terrorism.

Prosecutors also informed the court during the hearing that one RAW handler, designated as “Boss,” held the title of “First Command,” while another, named “Nana Pat Serena,” held the rank of “Second Command.”

Separate charges for unlawful weapon possession, terror financing, and explosives possession have also been filed against the suspects, they added.
