KP is expected to see thunderstorms during October 2–7.

From October 2 to 7, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is predicted to have another round of thunderstorms, with the upper parts of the province being at risk of landslides and flash flooding.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that most districts will get heavy rains, thunder, and strong winds during this time. Streams and rivers in the upper, central, and southern districts—including Peshawar—run the danger of experiencing an increase in water flow.

Abbottabad, Battagram, Buner, Upper and Lower Chitral, Dir, Khyber, Kohistan, Kolai Palas, Kurram, Malakand, Mansehra, Mohmand, Orakzai, Shangla, Swat, Torghar, and North Waziristan are among the hilly regions where landslides might happen.

All district administrations in the province have received a letter from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) advising them to exercise caution and stay vigilant due to the anticipated rainfall.
