Fazl and PM Shehbaz talk about the Saudi-Pakistan defence cooperation.

On Saturday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke about the defence pact that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan had inked.
The prime minister spoke with the head of JUI-F over the phone on the current state of affairs in the Middle East.
“It is a matter of great pleasure that Pakistan has been entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding the holy mosques in Saudi Arabia,” the JUI-F chairman added, referring to the deal as historic.
Shehbaz Sharif spoke at the event and claimed that a truce in Gaza will help achieve the long-held goal of creating a Palestinian state and stop the slaughter of defenceless and defenceless Palestinians.

According to the prime minister, maintaining peace in the Middle East is crucial for the growth and well-being of the local populace.
According to him, Pakistan has always supported the rights of the Palestinian people and will do so going forward.
During the discussion, both presidents characterised Hamas’ announcement of a truce in Gaza as a rare chance to bring about regional peace and halt the genocide of Palestinians.
