Four people died in six shootings in Karachi in only three hours.

There were six shootings in Karachi on Saturday, and as many as four people were slain during a three-hour break.

In Orangi Town, Karachi, a shopkeeper named Noor Alam was shot and killed while trying to stop a robbery. He grabbed one arm from the robbers and shot them with bullets. One of the robbers, Rahim, died later from his injuries.

The thieves stole from a petrol station in Orangi Town, which is within the jurisdiction of the Iqbal Market police station.

The police said that the robber who was slain had been arrested many times for other crimes, such as murder and robbery.
The police reported that Noor Alam, the shopkeeper, was a hafiz-e-Quran and had been married for 11 months.

Sher Alam, the shopkeeper’s father, said that his shop had been robbed twice before.

The police reported that a guy was shot and killed in Sherpao Colony, which is near Landhi.

Police said that the man who died was riding a motorbike when two unknown attackers chased him and shot him dead. He was hit in the head three times.

The cops found Rs 700 in his pockets, but they didn’t find any identification on him.

The police added that he is being identified with the help of NADRA records and that they are confirming the name that was on the motorbike registration.

Police say that the incident looks like a target killing and that the inquiry is still going on.

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for the Specialised Investigation Unit (SIU) also said that an extortionist was murdered in a fight with police in the Bakra Piri neighbourhood of Malir.

The SSP said that the extortionist had shot up a builder’s store a few days before.

Police said that earlier that day, a woman was shot and killed by a stray bullet at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) in Karachi.

The event happened outside the hospital’s gynaecology ward.

Fahmida, who lived in Malir, was strolling outside the ward where her daughter was being treated when a gunshot wounded her in the chest from an unknown source.
She was taken to the emergency room at Jinnah Hospital right away, but she died from her injuries.

According to police, two unknown males got into a firefight outside the hospital, and a stray gunshot hit Fahmida.

A passerby called Abdul Razzaq, who was on his way to a local tea stall, was also hurt by the gunfire. The culprits ran away, and authorities are looking for them right now.

The Saddar Police Station has opened a complaint under laws connected to murder and attempted murder. Police said that the investigation is still going on.
