In KP’s Orakzai operation, 19 terrorists were killed and 11 Army troops were murdered, including Lt Col.

On the evening of October 7–8, 2025, the security forces killed 19 Indian-sponsored terrorists connected to Fitna al Khwarij in a significant intelligence-based operation in the Orakzai district, according to ISPR.
Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif (39), Major Tayyab Rahat (33), and nine brave soldiers from Rawalpindi embraced shahadat while leading their troops from the front during the fierce gunfight, according to the military’s media wing.
Naib Subedar Azam Gul (38, Khyber), Naik Adil Hussain (35, Kurram), Naik Gul Ameer (34, Tank), Sepoy Tufail Khan (28, Malakand), Sepoy Aqib Ali (23, Swabi), Sepoy Muhammad Zahid (24, Tank), and Lance Naik Sher Khan (31, Mardan) are among the soldiers who lost their lives.
To get rid of any last dangers, security personnel have started a sanitization operation.
The supreme sacrifices made by the slain heroes will only increase Pakistan’s will to achieve long-term peace and stability, the ISPR said, reinforcing the country’s commitment to combating terrorism.
PM Shehbaz promises the country would never forget the sacrifices made by martyrs.
During an operation in the Orakzai District, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Pakistan’s security services for killing 19 Fitna al Khwarij terrorists who were funded by India.
The prime minister prayed for the departed souls and strength for their families, expressing profound sadness for the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif, Major Tayyab Rahat, and other courageous soldiers.
He declared that the noble intentions of terrorists supported by India would be foiled and that the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s brave sons will never be in vain.
Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorism from Pakistan and said those who pose a threat to its sovereignty would never prevail.
Mohsin Naqvi honors security personnel
Lt Col Junaid, Major Tayyab, and nine troops who accepted martyrdom while valiantly battling terrorists were all honored by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who also praised the security forces for their successful operation in Orakzai.
He prayed for the healing of two wounded servicemen and offered his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs.
By making the ultimate sacrifice, the martyrs stopped the evil plans of Indian-sponsored terrorists, according to Naqvi, who also stressed that their courage and dedication would never be forgotten. “Every drop of their blood symbolizes our steadfast determination to eradicate terrorism,” he said.
CM Gandapur praises the courage of the security forces.
Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also conveyed his profound sadness at the deaths of 11 troops, including a major and a lieutenant colonel.
He praised the security forces for killing 19 terrorists during the operation and offered his condolences to the families of the deceased.
“We honor the martyrs and their families who sacrificed their lives for the country,” he said. A great chapter in Pakistan’s history has been written by their sacrifices.
Reiterating that the entire country supports the security forces, Gandapur said that their sacrifices will never be forgotten and will only deepen the country’s resolve to eradicate terrorism.
