The PM tells party leaders to talk to the PPP about their worries.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told his party leaders that they should work together to solve the problems of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), which is an ally of his party.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif led an important meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-M) with senior leaders, including Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Ahsan Iqbal, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Rana Sanaullah, and Rana Tanveer Hussain.

Sources say that the conference talked about what caused the political fight between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The Speaker of the National Assembly also told the audience about recent discussions between leaders of the PPP and PML-N.

Sources said that federal ministers think the PPP’s problem is with the Punjab administration, not the federal government. The Prime Minister ordered the Speaker and federal ministers to keep meeting with senior PPP leaders and to work out their differences peacefully.

The Prime Minister stressed that political statements should not make things worse with the PPP.

Sources say that the group talked on several ways to stay in touch with the PPP and deal with their problems. The Prime Minister will also talk to Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, about this.

Sources further said that leaders of both parties told both sides to quit making statements that could cause problems. It’s important to note that the Punjab and Sindh administrations have been verbally attacking each other for several days.
