On October 26, Riyadh Air will operate its first route to London.

British Heathrow Airport will be the first stop on Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Air’s October 26 debut trip, according to a Wednesday state TV report.

At a press conference, Tony Douglas, the CEO of Riyadh Air, announced that Dubai will be the second stop.

Douglas went on to say that the first ticket sales will be for Riyadh Air workers and Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund (PIF), with public sales to follow.

The establishment of Riyadh Air, which is fully owned by PIF and is anticipated to serve over 100 locations by 2030, was announced by Saudi Arabia in 2023.

The airline will obtain Boeing 787-9 aircraft in the coming months, Saudi state TV stated.
