PIA privatization is progressing as intended, according to Muhammad Aurangzeb
The privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is progressing as planned, according to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
Following his appointment, Mr. Aurangzeb emphasized the necessity of persistent efforts to revive the nation’s economy.
Muhammad Aurangzeb stated, “There is no switch which can be turned on for macroeconomic stability,” and that Pakistan’s IT exports are probably going to reach $3.5 billion.
According to the minister, industries cannot grow unless issues pertaining to the energy industry are resolved. He also emphasized the necessity of reducing government spending.
Regarding Pakistan’s cash crops, the minister stated that $2 billion was made by Islamabad from the export of rice. According to Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) would become digital in order to overcome the lack of trust in it.
The finance minister of Pakistan stated that in the upcoming days, interest rates will likewise decrease.
