Chief Minister Maryam greets a senior Saudi delegation upon their arrival in Lahore.

A senior team from the Saudi-Pak Joint Business Council came in Lahore on Friday, where Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif personally greeted the party at the airport, highlighting the longstanding and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Subsequently, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif convened a meeting with a team headed by Prince Mansour bin Muhammad bin Saad Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi-Pak Business Forum, to explore avenues for augmented trade and investment collaboration between the two allied nations. The meeting concentrated on investigating new opportunities for economic collaboration in the fields of industry, infrastructure, energy, and agriculture.

The Chief Minister conveyed deep respect and admiration for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, commending their visionary leadership and steadfast support for Pakistan during challenging times.

She stated that the robust and lasting friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is founded on common faith, culture, and reciprocal respect.

Maryam expressed sincere appreciation to the Saudi ambassador for supplying vital household items to families devastated by floods in Pakistan, characterizing the act as a genuine manifestation of brotherhood, compassion, and solidarity.

The arrival of the Saudi delegation signifies a further advancement in the enhancement of economic and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Both parties reiterated their dedication to enhancing collaboration, advancing joint ventures, and cultivating increased interpersonal and commercial connections for mutual prosperity.
