The Punjab Assembly will convene to discuss the mini-budget.

Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan will chair the Punjab Assembly session, as per the information provided. The budget for the period of April to June 2024 will be presented by Provincial Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman.

Prior to this, the Punjab administration has made the decision to provide a concise and temporary mini-budget.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz instructed the finance ministry of Punjab to create a mini-budget, as reported by sources.

According to sources, the Punjab legislature has scheduled a session for next week to conduct budget processes. Sources have indicated that the assembly will endorse the mini budget and present a special report to CM Maryam.

According to additional information, the Finance Minister will deliver the budget to the Punjab Assembly once it has been approved by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
