PCB gives national selection committee complete authority

According to sources, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi advocated for the selection committee to be given full autonomy, stating his determination to not interfere in matters concerning the selection committee.

Insiders disclosed that the selection committee will have the duty of choosing both the national team and its captain. Furthermore, it was stated that the authorized departments, such as the selection committee, will be held responsible for their selections.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed by insiders that a decision regarding the other selectors, including Chief Selector Wahab Riaz, will be taken within a week.

In addition, the board has established a goal of one week to make final selections regarding coaches, since they are hopeful about selecting international coaches for the national cricket team.
