PHC directs federal government to disclose Gandapur cases
A division bench of the high court, consisting of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Shakeel Alhmed, presided over the plea filed by KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, in which he requested information regarding the cases against him.
“Has this problem not been resolved yet?” Justice Shakeel Ahmed inquired. “The problems continue to exist, and we are unaware of the cases that have been registered in Punjab,” stated attorney Arshad Ahmed.
Justice Shakeel advised individuals to obtain bail if they are implicated in any legal matter in Punjab. “If they furnish us with specific information, we will proceed to the courts.” “The details of the cases have not been provided to us, and no written information has been shared so far,” stated Gandapur’s lawyer.
“There are two investigations being conducted against him in D.I.Khan,” stated Abdul Rehman, the Director Legal of the FIA.
“Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim stated that he holds the position of chief minister in the province and the people of the province have expressed their trust in him,” “The people have elected him, and now he is governing the province,” Justice Ibrahim added.
It is improbable that you are unable to furnish him with details. The bench instructed the petitioner to furnish specific information regarding the recorded cases against him.
The court postponed the continuation of the case’s hearing until April 25.
