Following a postmortem, Teefi Butt’s body was given to his family.

Rahim Yar Khan police delivered the body of infamous mobster Khwaja Tareef Gulshan, also known as Teefi Butt, to his family on Sunday and transported it to Lahore.

Police officials said that after a postmortem examination at Rahim Yar Khan, the body was taken to his home in Naseerabad, Lahore.

A team from the Counter Crime Department (CCD) accompanied the handover to maintain security, and it was conducted under police supervision.

As the body landed in Lahore, there was a heavy police presence in the region, and big crowds gathered outside the Teefi Butt’s house.

Context

Teefi Butt, the main suspect in the Ameer Balaj murder case, was slain earlier Saturday in Rahim Yar Khan following a purported police confrontation close to Ahmedpur Lama Road.

According to police sources, Butt was killed instantly when two of his close accomplices attacked the police convoy and opened fire when he was being taken to Lahore for inquiry. According to reports, the attackers were able to get away.
