Bank of Punjab and the Transport Department Sign Memorandums of Understanding for a 20,000-Bike Project
In the presence of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the Transport Department and Bank of Punjab signed a memorandum of understanding.
President BOP and Secretary Transport signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the 20,000 bike project.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that students would receive 19,000 gas and 1000 electric motorcycles on interest-free monthly installment plans.
She stated that the monthly payment for a gasoline bike would be Rs 5,000 and for an e-bike, less than Rs 10,000.
She stated that following the draw, bike deliveries will begin in May.
Maryam Nawaz stated that the CM Punjab initiative’s groundbreaking program is the lending of bikes to schoolchildren.
CM Punjab orders that student bike registration begin as soon as possible after reviewing the suggested electric and gas bikes.
