Terrorist organisations operating from Afghan territory are posing a threat to Pakistan: Sanaullah

Senator Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s advisor on political affairs, stated on Wednesday that terrorist organisations operating from Afghan territory are the reason Pakistan is dealing with terrorism.
According to Rana Sanaullah, we have dragged the Afghan Taliban into this conflict after they forced it upon us. He claimed that because of the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij, who had maintained warlike conditions for the past twenty to twenty-five years, we were already in a state of war.
According to him, the fight against terrorism is harsher than a traditional conflict. “There will be no concessions to terrorists and extremists who are killing our officers and troops,” he declared unequivocally.
He claimed that despite Pakistan’s decades-long humanitarian assistance to millions of Afghan refugees, the neighbouring nation was unable to recognise Pakistan’s honest efforts. He claimed that terrorist organisations based in Afghanistan are the cause of the terrorism that Pakistan is dealing with.
In response to a query, Rana Sanaullah stated that he is unaware of Saad Rizvi’s detention and that the TLP has been charged with crimes and would be held accountable.
