As the KP cabinet deliberations continue, the PTI founder will provide ultimate permission.

While discussions are underway to settle the provincial cabinet, Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), will approve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet members.

The authorities have also been notified that KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi wishes to meet with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail on Thursday.

Insiders claim that if a meeting with Imran Khan is held on Thursday, the names that have been authorised would be released that same day. It is anticipated that the cabinet will consist of both new and old members.

According to sources, Barrister Saif will remain the Information Adviser in the new arrangement, while Muzamil Aslam would continue to hold the job as Finance Adviser.

Sohail Afridi is sworn in as KP Chief Minister by Governor Kundi.

It is anticipated that Qasim Ali Shah, Zahir Shah Toru, and Abdul Karim will not be included in the government.

According to reports, Taimur Saleem Jhagra and Kamran Bangash’s names are still being considered but have not yet been decided.

Furthermore, it seems improbable that Shahram Tarakai’s brothers, Aqibullah and Faisal Tarakai, and PTI leaders Asad Qaiser will be appointed to the new cabinet.

The PTI founder alone has the last say on cabinet appointments, according to sources in the chief minister’s office.
