Man detained in Muzaffargarh mosque after raping a teenager who was observing Aitkaf
A man suspected of raping a 13-year-old kid in Muzaffargarh on Thursday was taken into custody by the police. The youngster was celebrating Aitkaf.
Within 24 hours of the case being filed, the suspect was apprehended in the Kot Addu district, according to a Muzaffargarh police spokeswoman who confirmed the arrest.
According to Waseem Gopang, the suspect first managed to escape capture but was eventually captured by a police team under the command of Station House Officer (SHO) Shahid Rizwan.
“The individual stands accused of sexually assaulting a minor boy who was observing Aitkaf,” he stated.
The victim was reportedly watching Aitkaf when the event happened at a mosque near Sanawan Bukhi Chowk. The attack was carried out by the suspect, who was watching Aitkaf as well.
At first, the guy got away while allegedly threatening to harm the head of the mosque’s prayer. After then, the victim was brought to a hospital for a check-up.
A complaint was filed by the victim’s father, and a FIR was filed under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) in response.
The FIR states that the suspect confronted the victim, threatened the victim’s father, and threatened witnesses, threatening the victim with severe consequences if he revealed the occurrence.
In a Facebook post, the NCRC provided case data and reaffirmed their full participation in working with the Muzaffargarh district police office to coordinate the offender’s capture.
The NCRC reaffirmed its dedication to making sure the guilty party is brought to justice and held responsible.
